What does "Lua" mean?
"Lua" translates to "moon" in Portuguese, the native language of my maternal grandmother. The word spoke to me because it's easy to pronounce regardless of your native language, and the moon is symbolically linked to the divine feminine, evolution, and illumination.
Though completely irrelevant to anything we do as a business, Lua also happens to be the title of a beautifully sad Bright Eyes song that's worth a listen if that kind of thing is your jam.
